Day 1 : exploring the world

Hi bloggers today I'm blogging about a activate on Summer Learning Journey. The question about day 1 was if you were invited on a boat with Nainoa and you can only list 10 kinds of food what would it be but the was no fridge or freezer. I choose out of all the food in the world lasagna, cheeseburger, butter chicken, Samoa coco layca, knoppers, crackerling, jumpy's, taro chips, cupcakes, chocolate. christmas dress up day

Hi bloggers it's me Leilah, I'm blogging about christmas dress up day. Christmas dress up day is about dresing up in Chrismas costmues and bringing a gold coin for the hampers in our office. The hampers are for families who don't have much at Christmas time. I came to school in a christmas Mickey Mouse t-shirt. Some students  in the school didn't bring costmuses  or a gold coin. Choir

Hi blogger and welcome back to my blog, for this blog post I'm am blogging about Choir. We have been working for the consent. I was so exicted I kept on looking out the window to see if I can remember the places I spotted  we went to the town hall the first time. I felt nervous and exicted at the same time.  When everyone was here  a lady led us to the seats  nexts to the toilets. Then our choir trainer Miss McGrath in her flash dress we went to the suffer room and waited Mr Lambert. When we got to the stage we all saw our familys and extended family. We sang 14 songs then we went back to the supper room  for our parents to pick us up. After that we went to Buger King to get food and I saw another student from Hay Park he said she loved Choir more then me. Thanks for reading my blog have a great day.  

Free verse poem

Hi guys it's me again, and today I'm blogging about my free verse poem. I made a poem about one of the syndicate teacher called Miss Daly. It took a while for me to encourage myself to do Miss Daly as my poem. I really thought about it in my brain storm describing Miss Daly. I thought it was going to be hard but when you really get into the poem it becomes more easier. I love Free verse poems because their's no rules like other poems and that's why Free verse poems are the best. Thanks for reading the my blog post and have a great day. the best day of my life...

Hi bloggers, Monday the 4th of November the whole Te Waka Ako did the best thing out of the whole year. We did a L-C-S learn create share. My favourite thing out of the whole thing was making butter because I could make butter a easier way. My group was Pao, Manisha, Nikhil. It was funny because the whole way Nikhil said he hated butter. So me, Manisha and Pao we're the only ones who ate it. I loved it but I'm not sure about the others. If you want to make butter just follow the steps below. Thanks for reading my blog post have a great day.

1. Put liquid cream.

2. Shake the jar.

3. Put the butter in a bowl.

4. Take the butter milk out.

5. Then  your done.

You can but it on buns and  scrones
you can put it on anything

food for thought trip

Hi guys, its me Leilah and I'm blogging about Te Wako Ako food for thought trip. We were split into groups I was with Ruta, Noah, Jonathan and Jonathan's mum. We were the first ones there. When we got there was looking around and I found my pastor from church. When the others came Isabella explained what we were going to do. My favourite was the meusli bars because we were all surprised when we saw how much sugar were in the bars and we got to see which one we should be eating more of. At the end we got to get free lunchboxes which I am using. We went back to school and telling Waitemata all about it.  I can't wait when I get to supermarket to find out more.

 

choir rehersals with side A

Hi bloggers, it's Leilah and we had an incredible choir rehearsals. We went to Waikowhai Intermediate to do our choir rehearsals. I was excited because we got to sing with the A sides for the first time and I loved it because the A sides had a different sound then us but it still sounded really good. My favourite song was What about us pink? We sounded really good and it was our first time singing it. I loved singing with the A sides because I made friends and they had a voice that sounded like a melody. It was funny because Miss Mcgrath thought we were singing the right Maori words but Mr Lambert  was disagreeing with Miss Mcgrath and saying we were singng it wrong. Ok thanks for reading my blog post.
